We kind of need all six jets in the larger Voyager size, if they're going to continue scaling characters accurately going forward. I won't object to getting Earthrise versions of Ramjet and Thrust and Dirge. Deluxe-scale Insecticons seems like a wrong-headed move. Even Reflector is significantly taller than they are. Surely not the character from the live-action movies.?ĭo we really need new versions of the Insecticons? The official Sunbow height guide puts them at the same size as Brawn and Huffer. Not sure who Quintessa is supposed to be in this context. I've got the Impossible Toys version, but I've wanted more (ideally, about four of them) but he's so expensive on the secondary market (easily over $150) so this would make them much more affordable to acquire. If we really are getting a five-faced Quintesson Judge toy, that will be PHENOMENAL.
Poor Roadburn really got the short end of the stick, didn't he? I thought for sure that toy was destined to get repurposed ten ways from Sunday, but now it looks like they've abandoned plans to turn him into more Throttlebots and Battlechargers and Mini Autobots.
If this is true, I like the idea of the Battlechargers being Deluxe-class toys instead of the Roadburn/Chase toy being recycled for them. Sky Lynx has seemed like a reasonable guess for the next Commander-class toy for a while, since a) he's a large character and b) John Warden said he would tie into Omega Supreme in some capacity, and it makes sense for a space vehicle to interact with a rocket base. I'm surprised that an upcoming Earthrise Inferno hasn't been "leaked" yet.
It's not a huge stretch to suppose that Wheeljack could get reshelled into Sunstreaker and/or Tracks. It's clear Hoist will be repurposed as Trailbreaker and that Cliffjumper will be reused as Bumblebee. Now, some of this is really kind of obvious.
